All Schneider company trucks are equipped with Webasto in-cab heaters, because of all the exceptional comforts the units provide, and the cost savings the heater delivers on fuel and engine wear. These are real savings owner-operators like you appreciate. That’s why we’ve negotiated a highly attractive deal with Webasto to provide you with Webasto in-cab heaters for substantially less.
The Air Top 2000 in-cab heater is your for only $875*, plus installation. We also have available to you the Webasto TSL 17 of $945*, plus installation. You can install a digital timer of the TSL 17 to program the pre-heater at an additional cost.
The cost of idling is roughly $4,300 a year for fuel and engine wear. With a Webasto heater in your truck, your estimated cost savings are $2,800 for the first year, and $4,000 every year after that. An engine typically burns one gallon of fuel per hour when idling. The Webasto heater, however uses approximately 7/100th of a gallon per hour.
