In 2012, Schneider launched a new Training Academy for Intermodal drivers. It's strategically located in Chicago — one of the busiest railroad regions in the United States. The four-day paid curriculum includes classroom learning and in-truck training to make sure you'll be successful and safe when you hit the road.

Schneider Intermodal drivers average $42,000 - $60,000 a year, depending on experience and location. In addition to your base pay, you’ll have the opportunity to earn performance pay for driving safely each week and have access to unlimited referral bonuses.

New Equipment
Schneider National is the premium door–to–door asset-based Intermodal service provider in North America. That means we use our own trucks and our own containers to move freight for our customers. We’re committed to keeping those assets in tiptop shape. We’ve added more than 300 new trucks since 2010 and by the end of this year, we’ll have nearly 2,000 brand-new boxes in our fleet.
